Let's learn how you work best.
These questions help paced build a plan that actually fits you: your attention, your energy, how you process information, and what your body needs. There are no right answers here and no wrong ones. You can skip anything, change your answers at any time, and add more as you learn what helps. paced will use what you share to adjust session lengths, task structures, and suggestions, and your daily check-in will fine-tune things further from there.
How does your attention tend to work?
This helps paced decide how to structure your sessions and when to suggest breaks.
How does your energy tend to work?
This helps paced plan across your week, not just your day.
Is there anything about how you process information that's useful to know?
This helps paced decide how finely to break down tasks and how to sequence steps.
Is there anything about your physical experience that affects how you study?
This helps paced keep session lengths and structures realistic for your body, not just your schedule.
Do you have formal academic accommodations?
If your institution's accessibility office has approved accommodations for you, this adjusts your plan to match: earlier heads-up on deadlines, more room before they arrive, and work spread into smaller sessions. paced never asks what the accommodation is for, and this stays with your own plan, not your school.
That's everything for now. Thank you!
paced will use what you shared to adjust your default session lengths, task structures, and the kinds of suggestions it makes. None of this is fixed. Your daily check-in will update things in real time, and you can come back and change your answers whenever something shifts.
This isn't a replacement for your institution's accessibility office, it's something that works alongside it.

Notifications & Prompts
Pre-task reminder banner
Shows a gentle in-app banner when one of your events is starting in the next 10 minutes. Never alarming, you can dismiss it any time.
Quiet hours (no reminders between):
and
Push notifications let paced reach you when the app isn't open. It's entirely optional. paced will only ever send quiet nudges, never alerts that create urgency.
Accessibility & Focus
Focus Mode
Shows one task at a time on the dashboard instead of the full grid. Use prev / next to move between items.
Show Time Ranges
Displays event times as Morning, Midday, Afternoon, or Evening, instead of exact clock times.
Reduce Motion
Turns off slide and fade animations across the app. Useful if motion feels distracting or causes discomfort.
